St Ouens CC won
by 8 wickets
Summary
St Ouen’s won the toss and after
putting on their new playing shirts, eventually decided to put
Bignell (1
- 8) and De Gruchy (2 – 17) immediately hit their
straps with Bignell bowling quite a hostile spell.
With the top 3 back in the hutch
However Carolan (2 – 16) took
two quick wickets to put the pressure back on
Le Lievre and Powell got the St Ouen’s
reply off to a good start with the feature being the excellent running between
the wickets, something not usually seen at this level particularly with the
smaller boundaries.
The fall of Powell brought Bignell
to the wicket and any hopes
With two good victories and a rained off match so far,
St Ouen’s are handily placed to reach the play off
final.
Man of the match: James Bignell
