This is where I, Alan Le Bihan, get a chance
to speak honestly and openly about some of the best St Ouen’s cricketers to
have ever walked onto the artificial at FB2.
But first a little about me. |
Strengths
Slow Right Arm Bowler (no spin-except on a
bumpy track). Probably the only exponent of this dying art in the Island.
Right Hand Bat always likely to get runs, likes to hit big. |
Weaknesses
His liking to hit big whilst batting. Caught
99% of the time. Should take more singles. Not playing at weekends. |
Strengths

Player
Big player for the big occasion. Captain (and
sponsor) for the 2nd year. Right Arm Fast Mediam Bowler. Mixes it up
well. Right Hand Bat - Big Hitter, can be a game winning
batsman. Can punish the best bowling in the Island. |
Craig Douglas
Weaknesses
Swears in Afrikaans – could get caught one
day. Playing for two teams. Going on holiday during pre-season nets. |

Strengths

Pat Dean
Fast Right Arm Bowler. Bowls wicket to
wicket, very difficult to get away. Right Hand Bat very solid batsman. Always
likely to score. |
Weaknesses
Injuries at the end of the Egg chasing
season. Knees going, back going. Providing the team with beer is no good in
the teams preseason fitness regime. |
Strengths
Player
Right Hand Bat probably one of Jerseys finest
batsmen. Uses his feet well. Captain
of Jersey & Guernsey. Nice hair – Wella maybe? Right Arm Off-spinner (finger –no wrist). |
Ward Jenner
Weaknesses
Some stupid Latin ditty. Always susceptible to end up flat on his face
at the crease. Also playing for two teams. |

Strengths
Barry Breuilly
Wicket –Keeper. Has taken over 10,000 wickets
in his long career. Can talk a batsman out. Knows every rule in the book and
how to break them. Right Hand Bat – good tail-end batsman. |
Weaknesses
Cigars. Knowing every rule in the book. |
