St Ouen’s C.C. Vs SCF C.C.

Report:

 

Both teams were missing players St Ouen – Ward Jenner, Chris Jones and Mark Tribe. SCF were missing Bradley Vowden, Nick Jewell and Jamie Brewster.  St Ouen were able to field eleven but SCF only nine

 

St. Ouen’s won the toss and asked SCF to bat in a 10 overs a side game.

 

Paul Horton, Dave Morfee and Cameron King all bowled well for St Ouen’s with Paul Horton taking 3 wickets for eleven runs from his three overs.  Steve Carlyon top scored for SCF with 28 runs but didn’t receive too much support from anybody else.  SCF closed on 72 for 7 from their 10 overs.

 

Tony Carlyon bowled well at the start of the St Ouen’s innings but without much luck with his three overs only costing 13 runs.  Cameron King batted and ran well for his 27 runs but the innings of the game was played by his brother Richard, ‘The One to Watch’ who attacked the bowling with some fine stroke-play all around the wicket, finishing 40 not out in a total of 74 for 2 off 7.5 overs.
